The Rhode Island USBC Youth Association  Scholarships have been established to encourage bowlers to continue education and further the principles on which the Young American Bowling Alliance was established.

Membership in the USBC Youth Association or any other sanctioned bowling organization is not required at the time the funds are distributed.

Scholarships will be disbursed at their face value at the time of the award.

Forced suspension or expulsion of an individual from the USBC Youth Association or any other sanctioned bowling organization will result in disqualification for any pending scholarship awards and complete forfeiture of any scholarships that individual has already been awarded.

Award winners are required to use their scholarships by the latest of   1) the end of the year following in which the scholarship was awarded or 2) the end of the third year after high school graduation.  Scholarship will be forfeited if not used within the allotted time.

Persons reviewing these applications are asked to weigh each application as received and rank them from most deserving to least deserving on the attached sheet.  The ranking of all seven reviewers will be compiled to determine the scholarship recipients, one (1) male and one (1) female.
